Relaxation In Terms of its Social Aspect
Relaxation has positive impact on the social aspect of life. Saying, "social relaxation" we mean the concept is similar to the "emotional relaxation", but - as long as in the case of "emotional relaxation" is far more about the internal dimension of the human, in the case of "social relaxation" we mean how relaxation affects external human life.
Relaxation, as already mentioned, has a very significant impact on our emotions, helping us to transform difficult emotions and negative emotional state in a more conscious, creative and positive mood.
Relaxation effect on the internal dimension of emotional works in a similar way to dark room full of dust that was cleaned and we let new light and fresh air into it. There is a feeling of relief and better visibility, so that we more easily maintain order and harmony in that area.
Similarly, during the relaxation - negative emotional tension (such as fear, anxiety, anger, impatience, frustration ... etc.) are put to relax by increasing self-consciousness. Better awareness of the causes of disturbances in our emotional life leads to the realm of emotional feeling of harmony, peace, acceptance and kindness to the world.
Rough, instinctive emotions transform themselves into a more conscious attitude of peace, kindness and love. This gives a feeling similar to the tiny exit from the river into a vast ocean - increasing our feeling of presence and a sense of harmony.
But - as already mentioned at the beginning of this article - this internal transformation (ie, emotional relaxation) has also another dimension - an external factor (social - social relaxation). By improving the quality of our interior, we are improving the quality of its external (social) function.
With the mastery of art of relaxation you can relax in your everyday functioning and display more maturity of our internal being. According to contemporary research in psychology (Daniel Goleman - "Emotional Intelligence"), it is the emotional maturity that has a key influence on the daily functioning of human beings.
Goleman has demonstrated - through his twenty years of social conduct research, that emotional intelligence is much more important in the development and implementation of our career life, rather than rational intelligence (intelligence quotient IQ).
Research Goldman (emotional intelligence) are very close to our theme - that is to the question of social relaxation.
Mastery of the basic relaxation techniques (e.g. Jacobson, and Schulz autogenic training) helps to transform negative emotions and replace them with more informed, mature and creative emotional states. This allows much better functioning in our everyday lives. We tend to experience the state of spontaneous joy, kindness, and peace, harmony and love.
We begin to believe more in our capacity, and hence we can better (more consciously, and deeply creatively) refer to other people.
Social relaxation can therefore help us in our daily lives in many different ways. It is simply transferring the external dimension of our emotional relaxation.
On the one hand, we can create more informed and positive relationships with loved ones (e.g., wife, children, parents, etc.), on the other hand - it may help us to communicate in our working lives. Thanks to this positive potential, which triggers, we are much better able to lead a human team. Also in the individual work – we show a higher level of creativity, we are steadfast, patient, have more energy in life.
A very useful tool for such a relaxation of social (or emotional relaxation transfer to daily life) may be respiratory technique. It is principally about the observation of breath. We can perform this technique in difficult moments, for example we can make ten conscious breaths while counting it from 1 to 10. We can also count a further inhales and exhales: inhalation: 1, exhalation: 2, inhalation: 3, exhalation: 4 ...
Some point out that the stress locking our social relationships has a significant relationship with the tensions in the area of solar plexus. Therefore, for example, the technique of generating heat in the solar plexus neighborhood, which exists in the Shultz autogenic training, is very effective and helpful in terms of social, everyday life.
A great deal of relaxation techniques can help us to improve our quality of life. This applies to both internal and external quality of life.
